I would only 3-bet if I know the small blind tends to 3-bet light. Against unknown players, this wouldn’t be a +EV play in the long run.

If you're playing these stakes there is no such thing as tilt and no such thing as a bad beat.

It looks like a tilt play. Many times on a cash table we are going to play hundreds of hands without getting any action. And when I say hundreds I mean it.
Cash is a very boring game which requires tons of patience and self control. I assume you were bored by the time you decided to jam your QJs having a deep stack.
When we start to get bored we should leave the table immediately, without further ado.
Forget about mathematics here, our boredom will find some logical explanation to justify what we did but in the long run, specially at the micros this is not a profitable move.
Do not wait for tilt to come, lose the tables as soon as possible.

Yes I'm really struggling with boredom. 😔

I didn't have any read on the opponents, just impulse move

I know what you mean. Pokerstars has some surprisingly sensible players even at low stakes. In my own inexperienced judgement at least, there's usually 1 rec per table, outright maniacs are not that common, but there are some. Perhaps I'm the fish and a better player could spot and exploit more.

I'm interested why cash is more boring than tournaments? I would be willing to change my game to ABC poker if it's a winning strat.

Think I've watched too many click bait "Crushing the Micro stakes" videos on YouTube! I could treat it as improving discipline and an exercise in self improvement!

I don't play tournaments as illness means I would struggle to sit and concentrate at a desk for 3+ hours. I admire the pros who can play days on end of poker! 😁

I'm trying to increase fitness and improve diet to improve symptoms, maybe if tournaments were more fun than cash is something I can aim for?

Cash game has no action: tournaments have the blinds running fast, ante, the bubble, the big hit, the final table, if it's a KO tournament even more thrilling and fun.
Besides in tournaments we play most of times short stacked and we don't mind jamming some ATo having 9 BB.
On the other hand, cash is a deep stacked game, where we cannot find this thrilling and fun of tournaments.
Cash is a game of discipline and patience, most of times we will have nothing and we must simply lay down our cards and wait patiently.
We should not look for action or emotions when playing cash, we should look for a weak player that is willing to make huge mistakes and give us some amount of blinds.

Interesting, thanks.
