I love trying to understand ones overall poker theory rather than what they do in certain spots sometimes

This math teacher
Who yelled BINGO on Phill Hellmuth with a gutter
folded AA preflop(and was the ACTUAL OPTIMAL decision for that actual dealt hand)
Folded KK preflop
but called 15k into 45 k pot hoping for a ten or a club (that hit) and gets paid with bad acting!!!

Lets pretend he isn't an idiot but a genius
What could be his overall poker theory

I wish I had the discipline to fold AA preflop

Why would that ever be a good decision?

Hmmmmm. 🤔

Unpredictability? 😅
he only has only 1 bullet
That could be the reason he'd rather play post flop than flip preflop
and if he is really smart but not great at poker
If his flaw/exploit is overvalueing AA
folding AA might be his own EV+ in high stakes games

fish can't fold

or he is just superstitious about the AA
