the situation is normal, you can't control the set in any way, you need to look at the bet sizes. I don't think there's a fold here

Preflop
I would go larger with the 3-bet. 4X is standard out of position, and when he only min-raise I would size up even more to cut down on his implied odds to see a flop in position. Going to $1 is not to much in my opinion.

Flop
Standard C-bet and wont say to much about the sizing.

Turn
This was a pretty bad card, because clubs and TT got there. It also put pressure on hands like 9X and 66-88, so you likely cant get 3 streets of value from worse by going bet, bet, bet. Whenever that is the case, you should almost always check flop or turn, and since you bet the flop, this is now a check for pot control. The plan from now on is to try to get to showdown and catch some bluffs.

River
As played this is a check, and when he bet so small, its fine to call.

Results
Just a bit of a cooler, and he actually let you get away pretty cheaply. I do think, there are some improvement points though with preflop sizing and pot control postflop, when you have a medium strong hand like this.

Should have I folded on the River?
We can find some folds in this river because of the flush and the ace that merges on it, plus villain bets. However, calling is not bad and villain might have enough bluffs on this same spot (missed flush draws) that justify our call. Well played.
