The Eurasian Poker Tour (EAPT) celebrates its tenth anniversary this year and, to mark the occasion, there will be new stops, online qualifiers, and even more action for recreational players.
Railing multi-million-dollar cash games and super high rollers might be all the rage right now, but there’s more to poker than watching from the side-lines. The EAPT has been filling this void for a decade and, for its 2023/2024 season, the focus on recreational players is stronger than ever.
A new-look website is the hub for tour updates and offers but, even with a host of changes, the EAPT’s core values remain the same. Top of this list of values is “recreational-friendly” tournaments for players who want pro-level tournaments at affordable prices.
Eurasian Poker Tour remains recreational-friendly
Part of fitting into recreational player’s schedules means hosting tournaments that start late in the week and end over the weekend. As well as catering to people’s work commitments, Eurasian Poker Tour main events cost €560 to enter.
Even with affordable buy-ins, the EAPT will be running live satellites. And, as part of its revamped schedule, there will also be online qualifiers. Details for the online satellites will be released in due course, but the aim is to offer players in Europe and beyond the chance to qualify for less than €50.
The Eurasian Poker Tour 2023/2024 schedule is slowly taking shape. More locations will be added over the next 12 months, but organizers have already locked in six stops, including a grand final in Cyprus:
- June 21-26, 2023: EAPT Rozvadov at King’s Resort, Czech Republic
- July 8-17, 2023: EAPT Milan at Imperium, Italy
- Sept 29 – Oct 9, 2023: EAPT Barcelona at Casino Barcelona, Spain
- Dates TBC: EAPT UK at Dusk Till Dawn Nottingham, UK
- April 3-8, 2024: EAPT Malta at Casino Portomaso, Malta
- April 2024: EAPT Grand Final at Merit Royal Diamond Casino, Northern Cyprus
Each stop will include side events, a main event, and cash games. In line with the Eurasian Poker Tour’s dedication to recreational players, cash games will start at €1/€2. The stakes will go as high as €50/€100 but, as with everything the EAPT does, the conditions are perfectly suited to amateurs.
Something for everyone on EAPT
In addition to the improved schedule and online qualifiers, the EAPT will, once again, be working with Luxon Pay. The multi-currency eWallet can be used to enter tournaments on the Eurasian Poker Tour without paying currency conversion or commission charges.
