Elvis Toomas and his girlfriend Christina Gollins are a poker-playing couple who are used to facing off against each other for some high-stakes prop bets. In fact, Toomas just had to pay up in a big way over the weekend, when he had to go all-in blind on the first hand in the $10,000 Wynn Millions Main Event after losing a previous lasts-longer bet. Holding J8-offsuit, he busted to pocket kings, but re-entered and bagged at the end of the day. Recently, they were in the giving mood for their next prop bet, and decided to run a fun contest that promises a free $10,000 seat to the 2022 WSOP Main Event.
Bettor halves
According to her Instagram video, they want your help to figure out their next prop bet “punishment.” The person who comments with the best future punishment on her Instagram post will be announced on May 30th, and be given a freeroll to the biggest poker tournament in the world. The two of them started these prop bets at the WSOP Circuit Series at the Bicycle Casino at the end of 2021. Gollins filled us in on their first bet, one that she won quite quickly.
“First person to win a ring won $5k from the other was our first bet. The idea was to motivate us for the entire series, and it was so much fun that we haven’t stopped our prop bets since.”
It took just one tournament for Gollins to cash in on the $5,000, as she took down the opening ring event for nearly $25,000. The two kept the prop bets rolling with the major quantum event that kicked off just two weeks later. Gollins won this one too, but the stakes were…slightly higher.
“My favorite bet so far was definitely the one for the Quantum event at The Bike. We fired five out of six flights of the Quantum event, and the person who bagged the most times was owed an Aston Martin, paid for by the other,” Gollins said.
More props on the horizon
Gollins also shared that this massive WSOP prop bet isn’t the only time that they plan to share some of the wealth. They are planning to do a charity prop bet for the upcoming Wynn $10,000 Event, and will also be giving out some seats to the next MSPT in Vegas.
“The next MSPT hosted at Venetian, we are giving out five seats. We will be picking the top five people who post a random act of kindness or a good deed and tag me in the video.”
Gollins has ridden the momentum of her WSOPC ring into even bigger cashes, most recently at the Venetian $2,500 event, where she finished 4th for $83,847, by far her biggest live cash. Later that day, she final tabled the next event, $600 Bounty, adding another $10,000 to her big day. Meanwhile, Toomas has made five final tables so far this year, but no wins so far, finishing second in the Wynn Daily two weeks ago, losing to….Christina Gollins.
